Medicare Supplement (MediGap) Insurance

Medicare Supplement is standardize coverage, which must meet all federal and state guidelines.  The coverage is designed to help fit the gaps left by your Medicare coverage and is a good way to help protect your retirement income and savings.  With Medicare Supplement, there are a variety of plans available to meet your needs and fit your budget.  You need both Medicare Parts A and B to buy a Medicare Supplement insurance policy.

The best time to buy a medicare Supplement plan is during your open enrollment period.  Your Medicare Supplement insurance open enrollment period last for six months.  It starts on the first month that you are 65 or older and enrolled in part B.

Once the six month open enrollment period starts, it cannot be changed.  During this period, an insurance company cannot: 1. deny you insurance coverage, 2. place conditions on a policy (like making you wait for coverage on a policy to start), or 3. charge you more for a policy because of past or present health problems.

With quality Medicare Supplement insurnce protection you'll have coverage designed to keep pace with ever-increasing costs.  each year, your coverage is automatically updated to help keep pace with the increased costs that Medicare passes on to you.
